For an after dinner walk, we looked within our own home neighborhood of East Liberty. This was Greg’s first 90 Cones trip. We decided on The Milkshake Factory at Penn and Highland, our local branch of a Pittsburgh-based chain which has seen lots of business from us in the past. All four of us had milkshakes: Pippa had chocolate raspberry truffle, Edmund had peanut butter brownie, Greg had plain strawberry without whipped cream, and Liddy had raspberry and cream. We then took a walk around the neighborhood, passing by East Liberty Presbyterian Church and Obama Academy (the former Peabody High School, alma mater of Gene Kelly and—for middle school—Pippa Barlow).

Fun Fact:
Duolingo started here, and their headquarters are still located on Penn Avenue. Pippa and Edmund both have 150+ day streaks on Duolingo.
