After picking Pippa’s godmothers Sandy and Angela up from the airport, we drove to Westwood, a neighborhood in the West End that we had never visited before. Antney’s Ice Cream, located just within the borders of Westwood, serves a delicious set of homemade flavors. Liddy had strawberry pretzel cheesecake, Pippa had angel food cake, Sandy had vanilla. Edmund tried the peanut butter and jelly, which he said was the best PBJ ice cream he’d ever had. Angela had a chocolate malt. After enjoying the sunset, we walked a few minutes up the hill to the John Frew House (see our Fun Fact below!). Because the house is still privately owned and lived in, we looked around from the street, then headed back to our car.

Fun Fact:
The John Frew House, built in 1790, is one of the oldest structures west of the Allegheny Mountains.
